Most customers ask first up if I'm a barber.
Honestly, no. That's usually where the conversation gets more interesting. I've spent years watching the industry from the customer chair, fascinated by how barbers and stylists keep their tools cutting cleanly. The more I learned, the more obvious it was that Northern Ireland didn't have anywhere proper to send a clipper for a real service. Most shops were sending tools across to England or making do.
That gap, plus an itch to run my own business, gave me the year-long project that became Bladeworx in 2020. Six years on, we service for shops the length and breadth of NI, ship neon signs around the UK, and fit hex lighting kits for everything from single-chair salons to detailing bays.
